The new Healthy Homefront™ website helps veterans in the community stay healthy

TriWest recently launched a new website with a wealth of resources for Veterans, Veteran family members, those transitioning out of the military, and the public. The updated site offers the latest health and wellness articles, links to Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) resources designed to help Veterans and family members, and good news stories related to health care for our nation’s heroes.

TriWest developed HealthyHomefront.com to make it easier for the community it serves to find trusted information specific to its needs.

“We’re excited about offering valuable health and wellness information and resources to the military and Veteran communities and the medical professionals who care for them. Having easy access to trusted information is important to make informed decisions and healthy lifestyle choices,” says U.S. Navy Veteran and TriWest Senior Vice President, Strategic Communications and Advocacy, Donna Hoffmeier. “Healthy Homefront™ combines the latest wellness information with direct links to important resources and upbeat stories to make access to health care information accessible and enjoyable.”

The new site offers four specific sections:

  • Stay Well – Discover a balance of mental and physical health and wellness updates on fitness goals, nutrition, men’s and women’s health issues, etc.
  • Get Care – Access links to essential health care resources – whether you’re a Veteran, a Veteran family member, or if you’re transitioning out of active duty.
  • Homefront Stories – Be inspired by good news stories about how care in the community supports our nation’s military and Veteran communities.
  • In the Community – Learn about TriWest and its involvement and support in the community beyond its contract responsibility through sponsored events, supporting relevant charitable causes, and offering the expertise of its leaders who serve on panels and in board positions.

“TriWest recognizes that it can be challenging for Veteran and military families and caregivers to find resources that address their unique needs,” says Hoffmeier. “We strive to find innovative ways to deliver relevant information for those we are privileged to serve. Healthy Homefront™ is designed to do just that – provide useful information and access to meaningful resources and insights.”
